As an Associate on the Investor Relations and Corporate Development teams, you will play a crucial role in shaping our inorganic strategy and driving our global corporate development efforts across M&A and investments through our corporate venture capital (CVC) arm Samsara Ventures.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze information (business and financial) to inform our narrative to investors and analysts
  • Support all aspects of corporate development M&A and investment deal processes, including sourcing, qualification, financial analyses and modeling, due diligence, and closing and integration planning activities
  • Collaborate with Strategic Finance, FP&A, Legal, Comms, and Marketing to gather information related to quarterly financial performance and ensure accuracy of figures and alignment of external messaging
  • Monitor and internally summarize industry trends and peers' commentary and financial results by continuously tracking sell-side research, financial news, and transcripts

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking, equity research, or strategic finance
  • Strong familiarity with financial modeling and valuation
  • Bias-to-action and hands-on experience delivering business results
  • Self-motivated with a history of taking on expanding roles
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Strategic Finance, FP&A, Legal, Comms, and Marketing teams
  • Excellent communication skills. Must be comfortable presenting to investors and analysts
  • Flexibility to travel as needed
