About the Role

The Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of mechanical construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. They will collaborate with internal teams and with external stakeholders, conduct site visits, and monitor project progress to ensure project requirements are met.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage mechanical construction projects from planning to completion
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction teams
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including drawings, blueprints, and schematics


Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate will have a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, as well as experience in a Project Management role in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, sheet metal, and controls is necessary. Previous experience with construction drawings and blueprints, as well as with various BIM software is required. Excellent organizational, time management, problem solving, and communications skills are also required.
