We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager to join our team at 1204538 BC LTD. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in managing staff and assigning duties, determining merchandise and services to be sold, and developing and implementing marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Manage staff and assign duties to ensure efficient operations.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive business growth.
  • Budget Planning: Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial stability.
  • Staff Recruitment: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to meet business needs.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth business operations.
Support Services
  • Settlement Support: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
  • Youth Support: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth and provide opportunities for skill development.
  • Indigenous Support: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, and develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
  • Mature Worker Support: Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
