The Bucket Shop\Steeltec is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in the heavy industry sector.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic with expertise in maintaining and repairing complex machinery and equipment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and implementing corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair industrial machinery, equipment, and tools to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspection, to prevent downtime and extend equipment lifespan
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
  • Estimate costs and materials required for repairs and replacements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical issues and improve process efficiency
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a maintenance or manufacturing role, preferably in the heavy industry sector
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as mechanical engineering or a trades certificate
  • Strong understanding of industrial processes, machinery, and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
