Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Casse Croute Chez Micheline Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for supporting our chefs in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items, including cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Package and prepare take-out food for customers.
  • Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitizing duties, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing kitchen surfaces.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of our menu items and ingredients.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
