About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at BEST - For A Cleaner World. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance across our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Inventory Management: Select and purchase equipment and supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory, ensuring that all necessary items are available to meet the needs of our housekeeping staff.
  • Area Inspections and Quality Control: Coordinate regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Staff Supervision and Development: Supervise and mentor our housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Contract Services and Vendor Management: Coordinate contract services, such as laundry and cleaning supplies, to ensure that we are getting the best value for our budget.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all safety standards and departmental policies are met, and that our facilities are compliant with local health and sanitation regulations.
  • Financial Management: Maintain accurate financial records, including inventory management and budgeting.
  • Performance Evaluations and Appraisals: Conduct regular performance evaluations and appraisals to ensure that our staff are meeting their performance goals.
  • Supply Chain Management: Maintain an inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms, ensuring that we have a well-stocked supply chain to meet the needs of our housekeeping staff.
  • Laundry Services and Scheduling: Supervise in-house laundry services and schedule duties for our housekeeping staff to ensure that our facilities are clean and well-maintained.
  • Health and Sanitation Regulations: Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out, and that our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Infection Control and Audit: Conduct regular infection control audits to ensure that our facilities are free from infection and that our staff are following proper protocols.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
