Job Description: As a Rehabilitation Assistant with VCH, you will function under the operational supervision of the Manager and the work direction of a licensed designated occupational therapist or physiotherapist. You will work collaboratively with others to provide assigned physical/occupational therapy therapeutic interventions. Your duties will include modifying OT/PT care plans, facilitating transitions to community programs, and enabling clients to maximize potential for independence. You will also provide functional direction to family, report relevant observations of client's condition in writing or by utilizing basic computer literacy, and manage equipment safety and inventory.
Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must have completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program. You must also possess valid BC Drivers License. Local area travel requires the use of a personal vehicle for which mileage will be reimbursed. Additionally, you must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, computer literacy skills, and ability to work collaboratively with others. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position is also required.
