Job Summary

Les Marchés Lambert is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Store Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our retail staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales team in achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and taking out the trash.
  • Support the sales team in achieving sales goals, including processing transactions, handling customer returns and exchanges, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including setting up displays and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve sales and customer service skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum two years of experience in retail sales or a related field.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Knowledge of retail sales principles and practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
