Job Title: Retail Store Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Team Lead to join our team at Petro-Canada/A&W Restaurant. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales workers and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers to ensure the store runs efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Flexibility, organized, and a team player.
