The Saskatoon health network is seeking a skilled Pediatric Gastroenterologist for a locum position, offering a competitive daily rate of $2,308 and additional remuneration for consecutive days of service delivery.
LocationThis opportunity is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, within the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical services as a member of the Department of Pediatrics and hold appointments with both the University of Saskatchewan and the SHA.
- Offer outpatient and inpatient consultative services, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, biologic infusions, liver transplant clinic, rapid access celiac service, and TPN program.
- MD degree from an accredited university with fellowship training in pediatric gastroenterology.
- Clinical procedural skills to support both outpatient and inpatient consultative services.
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS).
- A competitive independent contract with daily rate of $2,308 plus on-call remuneration via the SECP.
- Incentives: 7 + consecutive days of service delivery is an additional $500/day.
- Expenses covered include travel, accommodations, CPSS licensure and CMPA.
