Job Summary

VCA Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board-Certified Radiologist to join our team of veterinary specialists. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for interpreting diagnostic images to detect sites of injury or disease, and providing detailed reports for consultations with other specialists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret diagnostic images to detect sites of injury or disease
  • Provide detailed reports for consultations with other specialists
  • Develop and implement radiology protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with other veterinary specialists to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging techniques and technologies

Requirements

  • Board Certification or residency training in radiology
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose complex cases
  • Expertise in various medical imaging equipment (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Digital radiography)
  • Dedication to promoting team-based medicine practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues, pet owners, and community
