Clinical Practice Leader, Speech Language Pathology

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Practice Leader, Speech Language Pathology to join our team. As a key member of our Population & Public Health Services team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality speech language pathology services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Public Health Speech Language Pathology Program, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective management of staff.
- Supervise and provide clinical guidance to Speech Language Pathologists and Speech Language Assistants, promoting excellence in practice and supporting professional development.
- Provide clinical services to clients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to determine optimal treatment plans and promote positive outcomes.
- Participate in interdisciplinary and interdepartmental committees, advocating for the goals and objectives of Public Health and promoting quality management activities.
- Develop and implement new and existing patient programs, identifying service needs and collaborating with stakeholders to drive improvement and advancement.
- Review and develop Public Health policies, procedures, and quality standards related to speech language pathology clinical practice, ensuring alignment with best practices and evidence-based standards.
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a recognized educational institution.
- Three (3) years' related clinical experience in Speech Language Pathology, including a minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Current active registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC and certification in applicable advanced competency.
- Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
