Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at George's Burgers & Subs. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, maintaining inventory and records, and managing kitchen operations.

Responsibilities
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer demands
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen efficiency
  • Manage kitchen operations, including staff supervision and workflow management
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Availability to work 30 to 40 hours per week
