About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Dismantler and Repair Specialist to join our team at House of Cars Auto Group Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Repair Vehicles: Inspect vehicles to determine the requirements for repair, and use hand, power, or specially designed tools to repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Vehicles: Test and adjust repaired vehicles to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Calibrate Vehicles: Calibrate vehicles using hand tools to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster, and provide them with foreign credential recognition, mentorship programs, and diversity and cross-cultural training.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations, and provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, offer mentorship programs, and provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
