Job Title: Floor Coverer Helper

We are seeking a skilled Floor Coverer Helper to join our team at Eleena Flooring Ltd. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Pre-Operational Inspection: Conduct thorough pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition.
  • Erect and Dismantle Forms and Scaffolding: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix and Apply Materials: Mix and apply materials such as concrete and asphalt as directed by supervisors.
  • Assist with Drilling and Blasting: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites under the guidance of experienced personnel.
  • Level Earth: Level earth to fine grade specifications to ensure even surfaces.
  • Demolition and Cleanup: Assist in demolishing buildings and cleaning up debris, including rubble and other contaminants.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and tools to ensure they remain in good working condition.
  • Spill Response: Respond to and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Site Cleanup: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, following all safety protocols.
  • Site Traffic Control: Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure safe and efficient movement of people and equipment.
