We are seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Vulnerability Management Engineer to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our security posture by identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities across various platforms.

In this challenging and rewarding position, you will lead the efforts in implementing and supporting our scanning capabilities across IoT devices, cloud environments, and on-premise systems. You will be responsible for participating in the full lifecycle of vulnerability management, from initial assessment to mitigation, and provide guidance during implementation on issues such as performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

You will also participate in architecture and design discussions around solutions and enhancements, identify opportunities for efficiencies by leveraging automation and other techniques, and establish strong working relationships across business units to build influence and impact with key stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you must have 5+ years of experience in vulnerability scanning with strong knowledge in IoT, Cloud, and on-premise environments, experience with cloud security and vulnerability management, and expertise in vulnerability scanning tools and technologies like Tenable, Aqua, Armis, Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS, etc.

You should also have knowledge of network security, authentication, and authorization, extensive expertise deploying software and strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills on Windows and UNIX/Linux platforms, and strong proficiency in container orchestration and management with platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes, along with deep technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for IoT devices and infrastructure.

The estimated salary range for this role is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package that includes bonuses, flexible benefits, and stock options where applicable.
