Job Summary:

Tolko Industries is seeking a skilled Certified Electrician to join our team in Armstrong, British Columbia. As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing our electrical equipment and controls, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and develop safe and reliable solutions
  • Perform preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades on a variety of motors, hydraulic motion controls, optimizers, and encoders
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and develop solutions to maintain and repair industrial electrical equipment and controls
  • Carry out maintenance projects and programs

Requirements:

  • Valid Interprovincial ticket and experience working as an Electrician
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) - preferably JD Edwards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
