Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Credit Risk Analyst to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing credit risk in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements, promoting products and sales, and contributing to Operational Excellence business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess credit risk in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements to increase profitability and enable business growth.
- Proactively promote products, sales, services, and banking capabilities.
- Contribute to Operational Excellence business objectives and identify, suggest, and actively participate in process improvement opportunities.
- Complete business processes and procedures as well as monitoring and control activities in a timely and accurate manner.
- Protect the interests of the organization by identifying and managing risks, and escalating non-standard, high-risk transactions or activities as necessary.
- Actively manage relationships within and across various business lines, corporate, and/or control functions, and ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements.
- Ensure necessary due diligence to support the accuracy of all customer transactions or activities.
- Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts.
- Assume responsibility to minimize operational and regulatory risk by complying with Bank and industry Code of Conduct.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree and/or 5+ years of relevant experience and/or Associate Program.
