Tow Truck Operator Job Description

Tartan Towing is seeking a skilled Tow Truck Operator to join our team. As a Tow Truck Operator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while safely operating a tow truck to transport vehicles to designated locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tow truck to transport vehicles to designated locations
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
