We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Expert to join our team at Pomeroy Lodging LP in Fort St. John, British Columbia, Canada.
As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with Sous Chefs to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation throughout service periods.
- Promote a customer-focused culture within the kitchen and service teams, addressing any customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Develop effective communication and liaison between the kitchen and food service teams, fostering an inclusive environment among all catering staff.
- Be a proactive and flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes in practices and guest needs.
- Contribute to the promotion of the department's aim to consistently meet and exceed guest expectations.
- A strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- 1-2 years of experience in large-volume catering to consistently high standards.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality catering.
- A willingness to learn on the job and develop new skills.
- Personal days: 5 per year after 90-days of employment.
