Job Summary:

Winnipeg School Division is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Class II Clerk to provide administrative support to our Professional Support Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clerical assistance to various staff members, maintaining databases, and performing other administrative tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides clerical assistance to a number of staff members, including preparation of reports, notices, flyers, brochures, schedules, and correspondence

Maintains various databases, including Google Docs, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams

Provides clerical support, including word processing and desktop publishing

Photocopies, collates, staples, and mails/distributes material as requested

Provides support to WSD Tutoring Services

Receives and distributes mail, courier deliveries, and arranges for special courier deliveries

Works collaboratively with the PCERC & LSS technical support team to set up meeting rooms

Covers the PCERC switchboard as required and provides callers with routine information

Requirements:

Complete secondary education

Completion of formal training in applied office skills with 1-2 years of office experience and coursework/training relevant to this position

Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel at an intermediate level

Typing speed of 40 wpm

Fluency in French

Experience with MAYET, Solarwinds, and knowledge of divisional software would be considered an asset
