Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Coast Canmore Hotel and Conference Centre. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel and conference centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Contact contractors for major repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Recommend additional services required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to work under pressure and lift heavy equipment.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
