Senior Financial Analyst - Live Service Games

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at PlayStation Studios. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in driving financial insights and strategic decision-making processes to support our business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have experience in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic planning within the live operations gaming industry. You will work closely with our production team to develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability for AAA game titles.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability for AAA game titles.
  • Conduct variance analysis and report on financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize NPV, ROI, and other financial performance measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and long-term planning.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and insights.

Requirements:

  • Significant track record and experience in financial analysis with a live service game.
  • Deep knowledge of key performance indicators that drive success in live service games.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent professional experience.
  • Avid gamer and strong interest in the gaming industry.
  • Thorough understanding of acquisition, retention, and monetization concepts as they relate to games as a service.
