Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

As a key member of our manufacturing team, the Manufacturing Engineering Technologist plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective production of our products. This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective implementation of engineering releases.
- Conduct product structure and cost evaluations to inform manufacturing decisions.
- Design and develop tooling and fixtures to support manufacturing operations.
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing data to identify areas for improvement.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Completion of a Manufacturing Technologist program or degree.
- Minimum of three years of practical shop floor experience.
- Strong understanding of shop floor processes and procedures.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and CAD software.
- Good mechanical knowledge and understanding.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
