Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions for our insurance business. Your focus areas will include intake, document management, workflow, telephony, web/device integration, and internal/external touch points.

Key Business Line Focus: Claims, with consideration for other business lines in the broader context of the above focus areas and components.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of all technical areas noted above and be able to drive/direct and define architecture recommendations. Knowledge of insurance business/process is a preferred asset.

Systems Environment: Java-based web applications, legacy mainframe systems, end-user client computing, and business intelligence.

Current Technologies: WebSphere/Oracle, AIX, Java, J2EE, CICS/COBOL, z/OS, Operational Data Stores, and Data Warehouse.

Newer Applications: Guidewire/Java components.
