The Clinical Specialist Radiation Therapist (CSRT) is a registered Radiation Therapist with advanced knowledge and skills. They will work within a multidisciplinary team to enhance radiation therapy practice and patient-focused outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and comprehensive care to patients undergoing radiation treatment
- Develop and implement education programs for patients and staff
- Conduct research and develop a portfolio of clinically relevant research
- Work independently with minimal direction and demonstrate leadership skills
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance radiation therapy practice
- Qualified Radiation Therapist Registered with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Current OAMRS and CAMRT Membership
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the field of Radiation Therapy
- Completion or enrolled in a Masters Level or higher degree in a relevant area of study
- Current BCLS certification with ongoing re-certification mandatory
- Proven leadership skills and demonstration of research experience
- Able to work independently and demonstrate excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills
