Software Quality Assurance Leader

Xplore Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Leader to oversee the end-to-end quality assurance processes for software development projects, ensuring the highest standard of quality across both internal and 3rd party teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills in managing Xplore QA standards in partnership with vendor managed Quality Engineering Services to deliver high-quality software solutions. He/She will express a strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to implement best practices in software testing and ensure project goals are met
  • Oversee and manage the performance of 3rd party test teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and quality deliverables
  • Manage the relationship with our testing vendor, ensuring adherence to standards and that outsourced teams meet project deadlines, quality standards and budget constraints
  • Evaluate vendor team performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in software quality assurance with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role
  • ISO, Six Sigma, Agile, etc.
  • Experience managing on-shore/local 3rd party testing teams and vendor relationships
  • Familiarity with testing tools (ADO, JIRA, Test Rail etc.)and frameworks and test automation strategies
  • Experience with strategic planning and evolving best practices, as well as knowledge of industry best practices
  • Experience with performance, security and load testing is a plus
