Operations and Compliance Manager

SkillWave LLC is on a mission to empower individuals and organizations to thrive in an ever-changing world. As our Head of Legal, you will play a critical role in shaping our company's legal strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage employment-related legal matters, litigation, and other legal issues that arise
- Advise the President and Executive Chairman on legal matters
- Develop, draft, revise, administer, implement, and interpret compliance policies, procedures, and programs
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and government authorities as needed
- Manage litigation, including eDiscovery and external litigation counsel
- Cross-functional project management
- Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience as a corporate lawyer
- Strong knowledge of contract terms and conditions, including liability, indemnity, and IP considerations
- Transaction management experience an asset
- International experience an asset
A competitive salary range of $120,000 to $150,000, based on the minimum level of work experience and qualifications. More senior candidates may apply, but note that the salary for the position has been set at the range listed.
