About the Role

KBL Environmental Ltd. is seeking a skilled Utility Construction Labourer/Backhoe Operator to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work with a leading provider of shallow utility construction services in Western Canada, specializing in various sectors such as environmental projects and consulting services.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience working with backhoes and underground utilities, along with a valid class 5 driver's license and relevant certifications such as Ground Disturbance Level II and Standard First Aid CPR. They must also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

This is a full-time position with occasional travel required. The selected candidate will be responsible for completing daily tasks safely and efficiently, participating in company health and safety programs, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Requirements:
  • Valid class 5 driver's license and relevant certifications
  • 2-3 years of experience working with backhoes and underground utilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong focus on safety and efficiency
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
