Job Title: Shop Labourer

Helical Pile Solutions, a leading deep foundations contractor, is seeking a skilled Shop Labourer to join our team in the Edmonton area. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment.

The successful candidate will report to the Manufacturing Manager and/or facility Supervisors, assisting Welders, Mechanics, and Supervisors within the shop and yard environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling materials within the shop and outdoors as required.
  • Operating basic hand tools and powered hand tools, such as drills, disc grinders, and skidsteer.
  • Performing work safely and following established work procedures.
  • Assisting with shop/yard clean up and other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Must wear PPE at all times while in the Shop or Yard.
  • Basic hand tool knowledge.
  • Ability to work well with others and independently.
  • Capable of working within a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One- to two-years' related experience.
  • Must pass a 50-lb physical fitness test and Drug & Alcohol test.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License, reliable transportation, and clean abstract.
