Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced In-House Counsel to join our team at OSCO Group Services Limited. As a key member of our Construction Group, you will play a critical role in providing legal support and guidance to our business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, edit, and manage Non-Disclosure Agreements to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Assist in the contractual review of construction contracts to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with external counsel to negotiate and finalize contracts.
- Manage litigation files and provide support to the General Counsel in coordinating with external counsel.
- Review and edit credit applications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct research on case law and legislation to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
- Manage contractual deadlines and notice requirements to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Coordinate with external counsel to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to manage high volumes of workload and meet deadlines.
- Negotiate with customers and vendors to resolve disputes and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in Construction Law.
Requirements
- LLB or equivalent degree and/or accreditation from the Federation of Law Societies (if applicable).
- 1-5 years of experience in any area of Law.
- All licensing fees and CPD requirements will be paid by OSCO Group Services Limited.
- Candidates with 2-5 years of experience will be considered ideal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated experience setting and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with confidence in communicating at all levels of the organization.
