About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Miki's Breakfast & Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stocking and Inventory Management: Restock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain a well-stocked kitchen environment.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare for cooking and service.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a positive attitude and teamwork spirit.
  • Language and Communication: Communicate effectively in English with colleagues and management.
  • Work Schedule: Work a variable schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
