We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Canguard Building Maintenance Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts to ensure financial integrity
- Prepare tax returns and trial balance of books, ensuring timely submission and accuracy
- Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Adaptability and reliability
This is a permanent position with 35 to 37 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
