Job Title: Advisor, Environmental Compliance

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advisor, Environmental Compliance to join our team at RONA Inc. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement environmental compliance programs to ensure regulatory compliance across all RONA locations in Canada.
  • Manage hazardous materials programs, including inventory management, vendor management, and spill prevention and response.
  • Provide guidance and support to store and supply chain locations on environmental compliance matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Asset Protection & Safety, Legal, and Supply Chain, to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain compliance reporting metrics and track hazardous waste generation rates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, hazardous waste management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in environmental compliance, hazardous waste management, or a related field.
  • Proven communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
