Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools to manufacture precision parts and components.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
- Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance.
- Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet specific tolerances.
- Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerances.
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements.
- Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
- Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
- Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- 1-2 years of experience in CNC machining and tooling.
- College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
