Job Description

JobContax is seeking a highly skilled Process & Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Life Sciences and Industrial projects team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of engineering project services for clients in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, chemical, medical devices, waste treatment, and food and beverage sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and develop engineering project services for Life Science and Industrial projects
  • Design and assume responsibility for design, procurement, and commissioning of engineering project services
  • Prepare and contribute to feasibility studies, front-end studies, and detailed engineering design
  • Complete mass and energy balances using UNISIM software
  • Prepare and maintain project indices
  • Liaise with vendors and complete technical and commercial bid analysis
  • Liaise with clients, design team members, and contractors on technical and commercial issues
  • Provide process engineering and scientific support to clients
  • Complete site walkdowns and redlines of process plant installations
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in a consulting/project engineering role serving the Life Science industry
  • Master's degree in Chemical or Bioprocess Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Good technical skills and written ability
  • Innate aptitude for process engineering design techniques
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications and AUTOCAD
  • Ability to work with limited supervision to high quality standards and meeting delivery timelines
  • Background in consulting or life science manufacturing technical services/project support department preferred
