Job Summary

Chateau Quality Drycleaners Corporation is seeking a skilled Cleaning and Finishing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our dry cleaning and laundry operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines to clean and finish garments.
  • Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to achieve optimal cleaning results.
  • Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles to ensure they are properly prepared for delivery.
  • Hand iron laundered fine linens or dry-cleaned silk garments to achieve a crisp and professional finish.
  • Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and use hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry cleaned and laundered articles.
  • Assemble and bag finished articles to ensure they are properly packaged and ready for delivery.
  • Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that they meet our establishment standards.
  • Match invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Record damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles to maintain quality control.
  • Use hand-held steam irons to touch up finished garments and other articles as needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
