We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at The Labrador Inn. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment.
Responsibilities- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits
- Help with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and utensils
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
- Assist with serving customers and maintaining a clean and organized dining area
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
The Kitchen Helper will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, steam, and cleaning chemicals. The ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude is essential.
