Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welding Inspector to join our team at Atout Recrutement. As a Welding Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections of welded and assembled parts to ensure conformity to manufacturing drawings and industry standards;
- Perform welding monitoring and dimensional inspections;
- Write detailed inspection reports and propose corrective actions;
- Collaborate with production supervisors to ensure quality standards are met;
- Provide technical assistance to production teams;
- Maintain welding procedures and employee qualifications;
- Perform internal audits and quality control tasks;
- Support supervisors in the factory and provide guidance on quality-related matters;
- Perform any other tasks requested by your superior.
Requirements
- One year of relevant experience in quality assurance;
- Knowledge of metrology and experience in reading plans;
- Mastery of common IT tools (Windows, Office, etc.);
- Day shift (7 a.m. to 3 p.m.) or evening shift (3:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.) availability;
- Welding Inspector 178.2 level 1 training;
- Qualification in non-destructive testing such as MT level 2 is an asset.
