Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team at CLC Building Solutions Inc.
Job SummaryThe Excavator Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and performing various tasks related to excavation and construction.
Key Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, to perform excavation and construction tasks.
- Clean and lubricate equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
- Refill equipment tanks and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Measure distance, volume, length, and weight using various tools and equipment.
- Operate computer-controlled equipment and complete onboard logs.
- Prepare accident reports and secure special attachments to equipment.
- Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment to stay in touch with team members.
- Perform minor repairs to equipment and operate hydraulic pumping systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate work execution.
The Excavator Operator will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. The role requires physical stamina and attention to detail.
Requirements- Steel-toed safety boots and a hard hat are required for this role.
- English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- 40 hours per week is the standard work schedule.
