The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our engineering team. As a key member of our team, you'll work with a high-quality code base and the latest tools to promote your skills in complex backend development, including microservices architecture. You'll own and build large-scale backend systems and micro-services, designing, developing, and delivering powerful server-side applications in a highly dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop robust and scalable software using Python, Go, or other languages.
  • Contribute to the design and creation of microservices and system architecture for projects, providing feedback to team members.
  • Improve existing code quality through writing unit tests, automation, and code reviews.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas to our technology, algorithms, and products.
  • Work with the engineering and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Requirements
  • BS degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • MS degree and above preferred.
  • Solid OOP and software design knowledge, with experience in creating extensible, reusable software that meets desired architectural objectives.
  • At least 1 year of experience with technical skills in languages, databases, frameworks, and web architecture.
  • Master source version control: GIT.
  • Nice to have technical skills: containers, caching, web load balancing, scaling, OS administration, encryption.
