As an experienced Operations Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with frontline supervisors, Screening Officers, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

About the Role

This role requires strong leadership and team management skills to manage a large workforce. You will be responsible for investigations into performance and misconduct issues, monitoring incidents, and providing feedback to employees. Additionally, you will work closely with the People and Culture department to ensure candidates are equipped with the necessary skills and training to excel in their roles.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of managerial experience, managing unionized employees, and previous experience in aviation security or a related field. A related diploma or bachelor's degree would be considered an asset. The salary for this role is estimated to be between $85,000-$90,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.

Responsibilities
  • Investigate performance and misconduct issues with support from Employee Care.
  • Monitor incidents and address performance issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with Compliance Officers to identify areas of improvement and direct Training Department efforts to address individual and team-based deficiencies.
  • Work closely with PASS Operations Centre to coordinate the movement of Screening Officers and minimize security screening wait times.
