Prahit Inc. is seeking a skilled Machinist Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for setting up and adjusting production machineries/tools, fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance, and maintaining, repairing and calibrating precision measuring instruments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical assembly and a keen eye for detail. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
- Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
- Fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance
- Maintaining, repairing and calibrating precision measuring instruments
- Maintaining inspection records and completing inspection reports
- Setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
- Verifying dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience
- Permanent employment
- English language
- 35 to 40 hours per week
