Description

The Aircraft Fueler is responsible for ensuring smooth operations on the tarmac. This role involves fueling and defueling aircraft at airport facilities, adhering to all safety standards and procedures.

Main Accountabilities

  • Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment.
  • Fuel aircraft in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Accurately account for fuel transactions.
  • Maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
  • Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel.
  • Defuel aircraft as directed.
  • Operate fuel trucks and hydrant carts to fuel aircraft.
  • Lift and move up to 70 lbs. of material and equipment.
  • Calculate fuel distributions for various aircraft.
  • Drive light and heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with Company and Airline procedures and policies.
  • Attend mandatory training sessions.
  • Meet station attendance records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class G driver's license.
  • Lift and move up to 70 lbs. of material and equipment.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
  • Pass and maintain required security clearances.
  • Be at least 18 years old and legally able to work in Canada.
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Flexible work schedule.
