Job Summary
The Server is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents, guests, and the public. As a Server, you will be the face of our community, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service in the dining room and lounges, ensuring that every guest has a positive experience.
- Prepare and serve food, beverages, and accompaniments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Carry out general cleaning duties and routines, including setting and cleaning of tables, preparation and service areas, and carts and equipment.
- Scrape, stack, wash dishes, and return them to storage.
- Assist with special events and room service as required.
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a hotel, restaurant, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year serving experience.
- Food Safe Certificate is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Organized and able to work in a busy environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to speak and understand English competently.
