Decarbonization Strategist

We are seeking a talented Decarbonization Strategist to lead the advancement and optimization of the data analytics behind Acuicy’s SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to addressing climate change, a strong foundation in predictive analytics, an understanding of AI/LLMs and machine learning, and the ability to engage with our customers to support their decarbonization goals.

• Own the product development roadmap for our carbon analytics, ensuring close alignment with our engineering roadmap.
• Provide technical leadership and strategic expertise in carbon data science and predictive analytics.
• Apply expertise in predictive modelling, classification, clustering, and time-series analysis.
• Accountability for the quality and reliability of data generated by our platform.
• Engage with B2B and Enterprise customers to understand their business challenges and requirements, and effectively communicate how Acuicy’s solutions can deliver value.
• Foster confidence through your own depth of technical expertise to lead teams as a peer and a mentor.

• A Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA considered an asset.
• 5-10 years working with sustainability data, carbon analytics, and delivering strategies in energy management, decarbonization, and/or electrification.
• Proven expertise and in-depth knowledge of sustainability frameworks and carbon reporting standards (e.g., GHG Protocol, SBTi, CDP, TCFD, PCAF).
