Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and caring Nanny and Household Manager to join our team at CHERILYN RAMBAUD GUINTU. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch childcare and household support to our family.

Responsibilities:

  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Shop for food and household supplies to ensure a well-stocked pantry and fridge.
  • Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens to keep everything clean and tidy.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting a positive and respectful environment.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them grow into confident and capable individuals.
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, ensuring their well-being and safety.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all necessary safety protocols.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their physical and mental development.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring the family's dietary needs are met.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring their transportation needs are met.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing a listening ear and a comforting presence.
  • Help children with homework, supporting their academic development and success.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Will train, but previous experience in childcare and household management is an asset.
  • Ability to work a 40-hour week, with flexibility to accommodate the family's needs.
  • English or French language proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with the family.
