Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and equipment. This is a physically demanding role that requires a high level of mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and belt replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines and equipment.
  • Clean and lubricate equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Verify and repair emission control systems to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and functionality.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a noisy and dusty environment.
