About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Municipal Engineering practice in Niagara. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies, managing projects, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and revenue in the Municipal Engineering practice.
  • Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Lead and participate in business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and developing proposals to secure new business.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of local design and construction standards, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the company in professional associations and agencies, promoting our expertise and services.
  • Mentor and coach project teams to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in municipal engineering, with at least 10 years in a consultancy environment.
  • P.Eng. or eligibility for registration in Ontario.
  • Project management (PMP) designation is an asset.
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients.
  • Experience in meeting timelines and budgets, proposal writing, client development, and other skills relevant to consulting.
  • Proven capabilities in writing reports and other technical documents.
  • Familiarity with local design and construction standards and requirements for permits and approvals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive experience providing strategic advisory services related to municipal engineering projects and clients.
