Job Title: Data Support Analyst

Broadridge is seeking a highly skilled Data Support Analyst to join our team. As a Data Support Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient completion of custom jobs for Broadridge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor data processing applications, utilizing various command-line and graphical user interfaces.
  • Evaluate and resolve data-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to determine file format and data manipulation requirements.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on data manipulation tasks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in the process of submitting specialized requests for print streams and provide file conversion and programming support.
  • Work with internal and external clients to resolve production-related queries and ensure that data processing deadlines are met.
  • Investigate possible data issues using SQL queries and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Contribute to the documentation of processes on an ongoing basis and participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Community College Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent combination of training and on-the-job experience.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for computer operations and ability to prioritize and handle the cyclical nature of the industry and fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience with Main Frame interfaces and Microsoft Office, WinSCP, Putty, Citrix, SQL, TWS, MS Access, Proxy Plus, UNIX, and MS Excel.
